Blue Plate #4
A round plate with a wonderful hand painted blue floral motif sweeping around the rim. The natural buff of the stoneware clay shows through a light, rough wash of white swept over the clay to give warmth and depth, with the classic blue hand painted design drawing the eye.
The hand built process and design gives a pleasing natural flutter which, when hung on a wall, gives a lovely side profile complimenting the face of the plate.

Materials – stoneware, painted with underglaze and a transparent glaze wash
Approx size – 21cm diameter
Care – lightly wipe clean with warm water
