Green Plate 2
A round plate, individually made and shaped features a wide border around the rim made up on many tear drops framing a simple floral motif in the centre. The natural buff of the stoneware clay still shows through a light wash of white swept over the clay to give warmth and depth, with the deep forest green hand painted design drawing the eye.
The hand built process and design gives a pleasing natural flutter which, when hung on a wall, gives a lovely side profile complimenting the face of the plate.
This plate can be purchased individually or with another design for a mis-matched pair.
Materials – stoneware, painted with underglaze and a transparent glaze wash
Approx size – 21cm diameter
Care – please wash with warm warm and wipe clean – not dishwasher friendly
