Green Plate #6
A simply but firm favourite design that pairs so well with others for a mis-matched pairing, the hand painted tear drops on the rim of the plate frame a central floral motif in green. The natural buff of the stoneware clay still shows through a light wash of white swept over the clay to give warmth and depth, with the deep green hand painted design drawing the eye.
The hand built process and design gives a pleasing natural flutter which, when hung on a wall, gives a lovely side profile complimenting the face of the plate.
There are just two plates in this design which can be purchased as a matching pair, bought individually or paired with another design for a mis-matched pair. Due to the hand made and hand painted nature of each plate, there will be unique variations and irregularities in colour, size, shape and design between each piece.
