Pinched out by hand to create a wonderfully characterful ceramic canvas hand painted with two outer border lines to accentuate and celebrate the ragged rim, and a central floral motif in a dark forest green.
A light, uneven wash of white underglaze allows the natural buff of stoneware of show through.
