The rim features a simple tear drop pattern framing a simple floral motif in the centre, hand painted in a vibrant blue. The natural buff of the stoneware clay shines through a light wash of white swept over the clay to give warmth and depth.
The hand built process and design gives a pleasing natural flutter which, when hung on a wall, gives a lovely side profile complimenting the face of the plate.
There are just two plates in this design which can be purchased as a matching pair, bought individually or paired with another design for a mis-matched pair. Due to the hand made and hand painted nature of each plate, there will be unique variations and irregularities in colour, size, shape and design between each piece.
