Pinched out by hand to create a wonderfully characterful ceramic canvas with contrasting thick and thin border lines that frame a central floral motif and accentuate and celebrate the uneven rim, all hand painted in a deep forest green.
A light, uneven wash of white underglaze allows the natural buff of stoneware of show through, contrasting the deep forest green.
