Hand painted green ceramic plate with a wide repetative border pattern inspired by Indian motifs.
The natural buff of the stoneware clay shows through a light, rough wash of white swept over the clay to give warmth and depth, with the deep green and white ceramic plate drawing the eye.
The hand built process and design gives a natural flutter to the shapre of the plate which, when hung on a wall, gives a lovely side profile.

Materials – stoneware clay, painted with underglaze and a transparent glaze wash
Approx size – 21cm diameter
Care – please lightly handwash wash with warm water and wipe clean
